Digital guru Bonin Bough has departed the chief media and eCommerce officer post at Mondelez International.

Bough, a ubiquitous speaking presence on the digital marketing circuit and author of the recent "Txt Me," was previously VP of global media and consumer engagement for predecessor Kraft Foods and led digital and social media for PepsiCo.

On the agency side, he was executive VP and global director of Weber Shandwick's digital practice Screengrab, and a senior VP for Ruder Finn's digital practice RF Interactive.

Bough is slated to host "Cleveland Hustles," a CNBC reality series that matches business leaders with local entrepreneurs in Cleveland. LeBron James and business partner Maverick Carter are backers.

The CNBC series debuts Aug. 24.
