Philadelphia-based agency Devine + Partners has been hired by the National Wildlife Federation to raise awareness of the Nature Center Network, a network of nearly two dozen environmental education centers whose aim is protect and improve the water quality of the Delaware River watershed.

Devine + PartnersD+P will help the NWF coordinate a series of grant-supported events titled “River Days,” which raises awareness of the Delaware River Watershed and the importance of its care, with events aimed at promoting and strengthening the new network and its 23 nature education centers, which are located along the Delaware River in places such as Reading, PA; Trenton, NJ; the Poconos and other areas.

The River Days events formally launched today with a Philadelphia press conference.

D+P will help implement a plan that elevates awareness of these centers as community resources for action on cleaner water in the Delaware River Watershed. The NWF, the largest private nonprofit conservation advocacy organization in the country, hired D+P through funding provided by the William Penn Foundation.

D+P in 2015 accounted for nearly $1.5 million in net fees, revealing year-over-year growth of more than 18 percent.
