Binn, who previously founded U.S. magazine publishing company Niche Media, launched DuJour in 2012, a print and digital luxury lifestyle brand. That company's flagship publication is DuJour Magazine, which focuses on fashion, design, entertainment and travel. Binn is also chief advisor to online shopping website Gilt and nightlife app InList.com.

JetSmarter uses a smart phone app to connect passengers and air carriers to chartered flights. The Fort Lauderdale-based company was founded in 2012 by entrepreneur Sergey Petrossov and currently maintains additional offices in Zürich, London, Moscow, Dubai and Riyadh. To date, the company has lined up about $56 million in investment, and has received celebrity accolades from Kim Kardashian, Emily Ratajkowski and Jamie Foxx, among others.

Binn will oversee Jetsmarter’s client relations and strategic partnerships, which includes influencer and celebrity clientele activation, and will also curate entertainment experiences for the private jet company’s members. He’ll continue in his role as DuJour Media publisher.

Binn will report to Ronn Torossian, founder and CEO of 5W Public Relations, who has served as a Jetsmarter executive board member since 2014. Torossian is also Jetsmarter’s acting chief marketing officer.

5WPR is Jetsmarter’s PR and marketing agency of record in the U.S.
