Healthcare marketing services network HealthSTAR Communications has appointed Dr. Cira Montreys to the role of senior vice president, medical director and head of medical affairs.

Montreys joins HealthSTAR from healthcare advertising and communications agency Harrison and Star, where she led medical and scientific affairs and wore the title of SVP and senior medical director. Prior to that she was a VP and director of medical and strategic affairs at Tarrytown, NY-based talent solutions company Hudson Global, as well as a group medical director at W20 Group's healthcare and consumer technology unit WCG. She was also previously a VP of medical and scientific services at pharmaceuticals company Evolution Medical Communications

At HealthSTAR, Montreys will oversee the agency’s suite of medical education offerings and communications solutions. She’ll be based at the network’s New York offices and will report to executive VP Tardibuono.
