Vanity Fair editor-in-chief Graydon Carter has asked for a new digital paywall to be ready in the next two to six months, according to Yahoo Finance.

The magazine that President Trump has called “dead,” recorded a 27 percent increase in unique visitors last Oct. to 14 million and digital revenue was up 74 percent year over year, Adweek reported.

O’Dwyer’s is a subscriber, but rarely reads VF’s content online, except for its tech blog, The Hive. Yahoo reported that this will probably stay free.

The article further explained that VF will most likely follow the paywall setup of sister Conde Nast publication, The New Yorker.
