Ketchum spin-off Access Emanate Communications has rebranded as Access.

The Omnicom unit, which maintains offices in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles and London, was formed in late 2015 when Ketchum’s San Francisco-based tech operation Access Communications merged with DAS Group of Companies unit Emanate. Clients include Capital One, Facebook, K-Y, Lysol and Philips.

The agency said the new moniker comes amid an updated focus on simplifying its integrated communications capabilities. The agency has also retooled its digital, content, influencer and design teams to reflect the new integrated emphasis.

Bob Osmond, a Ketchum and Cohn & Wolfe alum, has been hired to help lead and drive the change, and will serve as the new general manager of Access New York. Osmond joins Access from New York-based independent firm DiGennaro Communications. He’ll report to Access president Matt Afflixio.

Access founder Susan Butenhoff, who was installed as Access Emanate CEO after the 2015 merger, retains her title in light of the rebrand.
