DiGennaro Communications and Australia’s Access PR have formed a joint venture, which will result in the rebranding to Access-dgc on July 1.
Nichola Patterson, who joined Access from the managing director slot at PR Edge, will helm Access-dgc.
Andrea Kerekes, co-founder of Access in 2008, will move to New York to work alongside DC chief Samantha DiGennaro.
The venture formalizes a partnership between the firms, which led to the sharing of key clients such as Microsoft.
DiGennaro called the venture a “brilliant opportunity for both agencies to collaborate and pool resources.”
Her shop has represented McDonald’s, Xerox, Pandora, Johnson & Johnson, National Geographic, Meredith and Carlsberg.
Access has worked for Sydney Airport, Tourism Northern Territory and Barangaroo Delivery Authority.
Access-dgc launches with more than 50 consultants across the B2B and B2C spectrum.
