Spurrier Group, a marketing and media agency with offices in Richmond and Washington, D.C., is partnering with hunger-relief organization FeedMore to develop strategic campaigns to reach targeted audiences about hunger issues and critical food needs in Central Virginia. The collaboration will include media research, strategic planning, channel and media planning, media negotiation and placement of messaging, and evaluation. The majority of these services will be a pro bono offering from Spurrier Group.

Flavored Nation

GateHouse Media is teaming up with Richard Gore, former president of live events at the Food Network, to present Flavored Nation℠, an event celebrating the most iconic food from each of the 50 states. Flavored Nation will set up shop Oct. 27-29 in The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, with each dish being presented by the restaurateur or chef who prepares it best. GateHouse’s event production and execution division, GateHouse Live, will be responsible for organizing three stages of custom entertainment in addition to the 50 vendors offering each state’s signature food offering.
