The former president and CEO of Univision and chairman of NBCU Hispanic Enterprises & Content, Uva will supervise the development of content for brands looking to connect with multicultural millennials and Generation Z. His first order of business will be to integrate HMG’s original assets—the Hispanicize events, DiMe Media and Hispanic Kitchen—into the fully acquired platforms of Exit 7 and LatinaMoms.com. Manny Ruiz will remain with HMG as founder, member of the board of directors and a majority shareholder.

TransMedia Group named Marisela D'Baldriche president of its talent and modeling division, which is to be renamed TransMedia Versatile Talent. D’Baldriche comes to TransMedia after founding and serving as CEO of The Versatile Group of Hollywood, which produces entertainment vehicles for models and talent. TransMedia has also appointed Catalina Ruiz de Gamboa vice president of the division. Before coming to TransMedia, she was with the Keegan Theatre in Washington, DC and Potomac Theatre Company in Maryland.
