Hager Sharp is acquiring the Washington office of Lipman Hearne, which is based in Chicago.

With the transaction, LH’s D.C. general manager Jim Healy, who has worked on obesity and health education issues, will take an executive VP post at HS.

He’ll share duties with executive VPs Debra Silimeo and Lynne Doner.

Rob Moore, CEO of LH, said the transaction enables the shop to focus on its non-profit and education-related client base.

HS is celebrating its 40th anniversary.

It handles American University, Depts. of Homeland Security and Education and the President’s Cancer Panel.
