Fenton named Bryan Miller managing director of its San Francisco office. Before joining Fenton, Miller was senior VP of public policy at solar electricity provider Sunrun and president of The Alliance for Solar Choice. He also worked as a fundraiser and grassroots organizer in President Bill Clinton’s 1996 re-election campaign, and served as senior counsel at the U.S. Department of Energy during the Obama Administration. In addition to leading Fenton’s Bay Area office, Miller will also be a member of the agency’s Executive Team.

Olive Creative Strategies (formerly Olive PR Solutions) hired Ann Berchtold as director of marketing and development. She comes to Olive from SixteenFifty Creative Intelligence, where she was a senior account executive. Berchtold was also the founder and executive director of the Art San Diego Contemporary Art Fair, which was established in 2009. Berchtold’s hiring comes as Olive expands its services to include graphic design and asset building, digital marketing, traditional marketing and internal and external communications.

Crenshaw Communications tapped technology practice director Chris Harihar as company partner. Harihar, who started at Crenshaw as an account supervisor in 2012 after holding positions at M Booth and Morris + King, oversees a diverse group of accounts ranging from startups to established media and technology brands. As an agency partner he will continue to manage high-profile programs for B2B technology clients in addition to supporting Crenshaw’s brand marketing in the tech sector. “Chris is an enormously talented PR and communications professional, and his contribution to the quality of our work and the success of our agency has been dramatic,” said agency CEO Dorothy Crenshaw.
