Christopher Graves, global CEO for Ogilvy PR Worldwide, says companies are terrified of "the struggle" -- presenting any information that doesn't exude complete success -- because "we equate struggle with weakness in a competitive marketplace."
Graves, in an interview with Pepper de Callier of the Prague Leadership Institute, talks about what journalists think is the "biggest crock of B.S." and what he tells clients who don't want to talk about hard times:
Graves also talks about focus groups and using data and logic in crisis in parts 2 and 3 of the discussion. |
