Following the PR snafu that led Aflac to fire Gilbert Gottfried, the longtime voice of its iconic duck, the insurer conducted a national search and landed on Hugo, Minn.-based Daniel McKeague.

Gottfried fired off a crude joke about the Japan tsunami/earthquake that led to his ouster. Aflac's Facebook page still opens on a donation tab for tsunami relief.
