Nick Giles and Michael Hayman, co-founders of U.K. PR firm Seven Hills, sat down with Virgin Media's Pioneers TV to give some PR tips for start-ups and to discuss their own efforts in starting a new agency.

Among their observations:

"Your reputation is possibly your most important trading asset [as a start-up," said Hayman.

"Everyday we're selling, so we're either marketing the business or meeting with new people to tell them about what we're doing and how we can work with them," said Giles.
