Gary McCormick, PR Society chair, will speak to PRSA's Thoroughbred chapter Aug. 10 at the Hyatt Regency, Lexington, Ky. This will be his fifth visit to a chapter meeting. Previous chapters addressed were Cincinnati, Richmond, Miami, Central Iowa and Georgia.
Thoroughbred, whose president is Susan Lancho of the American Water Co., has 54 members.
McCormick spoke to the 800-member Georgia chapter July 15 in Atlanta, spending 40 minutes on how his employer HGTV pitches advertising to prospects.
He answered a reporter’s questions following the meeting.
