Rosanna Fiske, chair of PR Society of America, will keynote the April 7 luncheon of the Hispanic PR and Social Media Conference that runs from April 6-8 in Hollywood.

Fiske, who is described as the “first Latina elected chair” of the Society, is speaking at a luncheon sponsored by Walt Disney Co.

The conference is called “Hispanicize 2011” and includes addresse by Oscar nominated actor Edward James Olmos; Javier Farfan, director of cultural marketing for PepsiCo; Rick Wion, social media director for McDonald’s Corp., and Rick Najera, comedian/screenwriter.

The conference is co-presented by the Hispanic PR Assn., Hispanicize, and the Hispanic PR Blog in partnership with the PR Society. More than 33 instructional classes will be conducted by 80+ speakers.

Topics include Latino social media, blogging, PR best practices and diversity.

Hispanicize is described as the “complete resource for Latino social media marketers and bloggers.” It was co-founded by “Latino social media thought leaders” Manny Ruiz, founder of the Hispanic PR Blog, PapiBlogger, and the Annual Hispanic PR and Social Media Conference; Louis Pagan, co-founder of LATISM; and Migdalia Rivera, founder of Latina on a Mission.

Fiske address the Society's Miami chapter Feb. 15. There are 110 chapters.

Society VP-PR Arthur Yann, asked several times for the chapter speaking schedule of Fiske, has not responded. Fiske also does not respond to requests for her speaking schedule.
