Responders shredded Hartman to bits, suggesting that a visit to a psychiatrist may be in order. “Any sane observer would admit Hillary is a bore,” wrote “Cemlo2” Hillary is “scraping the bottom of the barrel of decency,” chimed in “Tyrdofwaitlin,” who added: “All we need are the cheesy, pandering racist Clintons near Barack.”
“Jan” likened Hillary to Karl Rove in a pantsuit. The former First Lady “has resorted to Rovian tactics and methods, which has been a bane to Dems.” Even worse mush from “Kathleen in Az:” “As VP, she would work to undermine him and his agenda every step of the way. She’d be playing Dick Cheney to his George Bush.” Note to Kate: Get a grip.
Clinton, according to “Marnweeks,” changes colors like an "octopus as she tries to sell herself state to state, pandering, lying and distracting people.” Hillary is not even a Democrat, responded “Douglasdao.” Her campaign “has brought disgrace on the Democratic party with her racism, negativity and scorched earth strategy.” Hartmann has no standards in “Fonts” ook. “Haven’t we had enough of that crap with Bush?”
Responders used the need for “change” as a common theme, playing up their guy as a “change agent” while portraying Clinton as a creature stuck in the past.
In reality, there is barely a difference between the policies of Barack and Hillary -- though Obama gets my vote for his opposition to the invasion of Iraq. Either would be a blessing after eight years of Bush.
Responders missed Hartmann’s major point, which is: an Obama/Clinton ticket “holds the healing and the power to move this country in the direction of change in Washington that Obama talks about. They are drinking way too much Kool-Aid.
