odwyerpr.com is pleased as punch to announce the unveiling today of its long-anticipated (at least we were waiting for it to go live) blog that will feature the thoughts of editors here about what we consider the most pressing PR and PA issues of the day.
You may disagree with us more often than not. Some of the topics may not even register on your personal Richter Scale.
The truth of the matter: we are not total geniuses. Our posts, it is hoped, will stimulate thought.
They also will function as a tool to "smoke out" comments/responses from "those in the know," generating a conversation about life in PRLand and in this modern age.
The odwyerpr blog has been under development for months by senior editor Greg Hazley.
The initial Summer debut date was postponed because this crew is a firm believer in former White House Chief of Staff Andy Card's advice about not launching a new product in August. Card, of course, was talking about the war with Iraq. We are taking the easy path, offering a cyber-town hall (or cyber-stoop) where reader input is just as (or more) important than what the odwyerpr.com people have to say.
I hope you will be part of the conversation.
