Laughlin Constable, Chicago-based advertising/PR shop, has acquired Zeppos & Assocs., the PR/government relations shop in Milwaukee.
Z&A represents clients such as MillerCoors, Milwaukee Public Schools, Bradley Center Sports and Entertainment Corp., Veolia, A.O. Smith, Georgia-Pacific, National Electrical Manufacturers Assn, City of New Berlin, Cousins Submarines, Rio Tinto, Tourism Federation of Wisconsin and Briggs & Stratton.
It was founded by Evan Zeppos in 1994. He has served on the staffs of Wisconsin Democratic Congressmen Gerald Kleczka/ David Obey and Governors Patrick Lucey and Martin Schreiber.
He told O’Dwyer’s the deal is “a great opportunity to continue building a great firm. They are very well regarded, have great people and there's a perfect fit with our expertise.”
Steve Laughlin, CEO of LC, said in a statement that Z&A’s team has “earned a national reputation for excellence in successfully completing major PR assignments throughout the nation, and it expertise will add considerable strength to LC’s already solid group of PR professionals.”
LC has offices in Milwaukee and New York and more than 225 staffers.
