The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency is looking for proposals to handle its “Be Brasil” promotion slated for New York in 2013 and-- depending on results and feedback-- headed for the West Coast the next year.

The effort is geared to promoting Brazil’s fashion (apparel, shoes, cosmetics, jewelry), technology (health equipment, IT), food & beverage, design (architectural services, furniture) and entertainment (movies, TV, music, literature, advertising) sectors.

The overall goal is to extend the awareness of Brazil to the targeted categories.

Historically, the U.S. has been Brazil’s No. 1 export market, but China took the top spot in 2009.

Proposals are due Oct. 28. They go to Luciana Gatto Fonseca at Luciana.gatto [at] apexbrasil [dot] com [dot] br.
