Geraldine Ferraro, a former Democratic Vice Presidential
candidate who spent the last four years at Golin/Harris Int'l,
has moved to The Global Consulting Group in New York as a
VP. She is charged with building up the firm's fledgling public

Ferraro told this website a key factor in the move was her
"past life" work with Richard Wolff, CEO of Huntsworth-owned
GCG who used to head G/HI's New York office, where she was
based. Wolff opened GCG three years ago.
Ferraro said her contract with G/HI expired in May and the
parting was "amicable." She said she continues as
a consultant. At G/HI, she did PA work for Mercy Housing,
a not-for-profit affordable housing builder, and the Alliance
for Energy and Economic Growth, an industry group advocating
Yucca Mountain in Nevada as a site for nuclear waste storage.
The former three-term Congresswoman, who will be based in
New York but travels to Washington, D.C., brings over public
affairs work for Mercy Housing and Nestle.
She called the initial response to her work over the last
two weeks "quite interesting and quite gratifying."
