New York City’s not-for-profit economic development engine is looking for an outside firm to develop and implement a competition to reward a “pop-up shop” to a promising fashion retailer.
The NYCEDC and fashion industry have teamed up for a year-long program dubbed “Fashion.NYC.2020” to cultivate the fashion sector in the Big Apple.
The NYCEDC released an RFP this week for a firm to run a competition to reward a “relatively young, high-growth potential, city-based retailer with support” via a pop-up store, PR and marketing, business mentors and other prizes. The contest has been called "Project Pop-Up" with fashion icon Diane von Furstenberg at the helm/
Budget is $175K for a one-year contract that carries two option years.
Deadline is Feb. 14. View the RFP (PDF).
