Presence Switzerland, the Swiss government’s PR arm, has tapped Baltimore-based Warschawski for a public diplomacy campaign aimed at the U.S., following an RFP process.
The Swiss campaign, dubbed ThinkSwiss, aims to build relations between the two countries through events, exchanges and activities to burnish Switzerland’s overseas image.
The PR firm is charged with developing positioning and messaging for Switzerland and with building a new website to support diplomacy efforts.
Presence Switzerland has worked with Weber Shandwick, Ogilvy PR Worldwide and Fleishman-Hillard on past projects overseas.
David Warschawski, CEO of the firm, said that in addition to the country’s beauty and culture, Switzerland is the largest direct foreign investor in the U.S. and is a key player in the sustainable technology market.
