St. Louis County will award more than $600K in anti-smoking work, according to an RFP put out by its Dept. of Health.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention awarded the County $7.6M in stimulus cash to bankroll anti-smoking work. Fleishman-Hillard has already picked up $2M of that total.
The current RFP covers the remaining available funding for outreach to public school districts to help them achieve tobacco-free “gold standard” ratings of the National Assn. of School Boards of Education, increase the number of calls to the Missouri smoker quit-line and bolster the number of smoking cessation programs at local employers.
Deadline to respond is March 25. Start-up date is April 25. Written inquires go to [email protected].
