Betsy Holahan, who was communications director for the Senate Budget Committee under New Hampshire's Judd Gregg, has established Great Point Strategies in Alexandria (Va.) to help clients gain their public policy goals.

Gregg, who retired from the Senate in 2010, says Holahan's strong ties to leading media are an advantage to any potential client.
He relied on her for knack of crafting and delivering the "right message to the right audience," according to a statement from the from the Granite State Republican.
Holahan also was spokesperson and senior PA advisor at the Treasury Dept. during the Bush II White House. She was press secretary to Sen. Pat Roberts (1997-01) and press secretary for the Congressional Joint Economic Committee.
Great Point offers communications strategy/implementation, message development, PR, media relations, media training and crisis management. It gets its name from the Great Point Lighthouse, which was built in 1785 on Nantucket.
