The San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau is looking for a PR firm to handle a culinary focused media event in New York for the first week of December.
The project to position the Alamo city as a food & wine destination ties in to the upcoming “Top Chef Texas” season on Bravo.
The SACVB is looking for a firm to line up 25 key print and broadcast pros plus select digital influencers. It will secure a VIP theater-type venue with a professional kitchen and serving capabilities.
The San Antonio chef (s) will provide the recipe and menus, but the PR firm is responsible for handling on-site or catering services to prepare the food.
The SACVB has suggested story lines playing up the city as all things “TexMex,” and the “perfect hub for drives into the Texas Hill Country for wineries and daytrips.”
The project’s budget is $14K.
Leslie Komet Ausburn of Komet Marketing Communications says interested firms must contact her by 5 p.m. on Nov. 4. The winner will be selected next week. She is at leslie [at] kometcommunications [dot] com. RFP details.
