Miller handled media for the Obama administration during Attorney General Eric Holder’s confirmation and joined the Justice Dept. after his confirmation.
Matt Dowd, the former Bush communications advisor and partner at Vianovo, called Miller a “seasoned hand and friend.”
Miller was a strategist for Public Strategies, the Austin-based PA firm that merged last year with Hill & Knowlton. Blaine Bull, another Vianovo partner, was a founding officer and shareowner of PS.
Miller’s political experience includes communications director for the House Democratic Caucus, Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) and Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.
