Rob Leggat, who helped Wal-Mart build in global markets like China and Russia, has moved to Goddard Claussen Public Affairs in D.C. as a senior VP.
Leggat has been running his own consulting shop in the capital since 2010, when he left Wal-Mart as VP of international corporate affairs.
The former Navy public affairs officer spent more than a decade at GM, including VP of corporate affairs for the Asia Pacific region.
GC founding partner Ben Goddard said Leggat knows “what it takes to manage across borders and cultures,” key to the firm’s growth internationally and in the U.S.
