Navy Reserve Rear Admiral Vic Beck, who was posted in Baghdad as chief of media operations at the headquarters for the Multi-National Force Iraq and worked in Dubai as director of the international media engagement team for the U.S. Central Command, is now managing director at Burson-Marsteller’s U.S. public affairs practice.
The 25-year Navy veteran was part-time vice chief of information for that service, overseeing a staff of more than 500 communications people.
Prior to his military service, Beck was VP-communications planning and strategy at consulting firm S4 and VP at Peter Arnold Assocs. PR firm.
At B-M, Beck reports to Nate Tibbits, chair of the U.S. practice.
Beck addressed PRSA's Memphis chapter in November.
