San Francisco’s $1.6B-dollar Central Subway Project is looking for a PR contractor via RFP as it looks to lock-up federal aid on what the city calls “the most significant capital investment in generations.”
The city is looking to extend its light rail finished in 2007 with a 1.7-mile tract dubbed Central Subway with the help of $948M from the Federal Transit Administration’s New Starts program.
The city wants a strategic communications advisor on a six-month pact capped at $95,000 leading up to federal approval to sustain and strengthen existing support and generate new backs of the project. No lobbying or advertising is involved.
Deadline is Jan. 26. View the RFP (PDF).
