The tourism entity released an RFP on July 10 to guide national media relations, including in-market media tours, over the next year to burnish the travel profile of the city that sits on the fabled Route 66.
Native American culture, outdoor recreation and golf are top draws for tourists, as well as the city of 810,000’s claim of blue skies 310 days out of the year.
Megan Mayo (mayo [at] itsatrip [dot] org), senior communications and tourism manager for the ACVB, is handling the search.
Proposals are due by July 30; questions by July 25.
