Brunswick Group’s Christine Graeff has joined the European Central Bank as director general for communications and language services. She takes over for Elisabeth Ardaillon-Poirier.
Graeff becomes chief spokesperson for ECB president Mario Draghi as he tries to reach consensus on the currency policy of the 17-nation group.
Graeff established Brunswick’s Frankfurt office in 2001 and has had a special focus on corporate positioning, M&A, crisis and restructuring, according to the firm’s website.
Earlier, she helped Burson-Marsteller develop its financial communications and IR offering, and began her career in London in the corporate finance department at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, working on various IPOs, divestments and M&A transactions. |
