Rabinowitz-Dorf Communications is distributing today’s press advisory from the Islamic Society of North America for the National Press Club interfaith conference today to condemn the murder of U.S. ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens and three State Dept. staffers, the attack on America’s Cairo embassy and incitement by media in Arab countries.
ISNA president Imam Mohamed Magid will be joined at the NPC by Rabbi David Saperstein (director of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism), and Rev. Welton Gaddy (president of the Interfaith Alliance).
Adam Muhlendorf, VP at R-DC, is the contact person for the session. He has not yet been reached. R-DC lists the RACRJ as a client.
R-DC is headed by Steve Rabinowitz, former director of design and production in the Clinton White House, advisor to the Al Gore and John Kerry presidential runs. He is remembered staging the 1993 event for the signing of the Declaration of Principles between Israel and the PLO.
Matt Dorf is former D.C. bureau chief for the JTA, Jewish newswire, and director of government and public affairs for the American Jewish Congress’ Washington operation.
