Financial PR and IR firm MBS Value Partners has acquired Farrell Kramer Communications, a tech-savvy corporate PR shop led by a former Associated Press reporter and Robinson Lerer & Montgomery exec.
Lynn Morgen, partner at New York-based MBS and former president and co-founder of Morgen-Walke, said the acquisition expands its financial comms. base with a greater emphasis on PR, corporate communications, social media, and media and presentation training. The firms have collaborated in the past.
Farrell Kramer, president of FKC, and VP Sharon Bially have joined MBS in senior posts out of New York and Boston, respectively.
Kramer was an AP investigative and business reporter before moving to the PR side as a senior VP at RL&M, now RLM Finsbury, before setting up FKC in 2002. Bially was previously with the Council on Foreign Relations and NBC News in Paris before joining FKC in 2004.
MBS, which has worked with Saks Fifth Avenue, Ducati, Direct TV and Arcos Dorados, the largest franchisee of McDonald's Corp., has a Sao Paulo office and execs in Dallas and San Francisco, in addition to Boston, as well as a joint venture in London. |
