Global nonprofit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation is seeking an agency that can provide media relations work and special event coverage for a forthcoming festival and fundraising event.

EGPAF is a world leader in the fight to prevent and eliminate pediatric HIV/ AIDS through research, advocacy and prevention and treatment programs. Founded in 1988, the organization works in a dozen countries.

For nearly 30 years, EGPAF has held its annual signature event, A Time for Heroes, which is intended to bring together families to celebrate the organization’s mission to end AIDS in children worldwide. This year’s event will be held on Sunday, October 28, at Smashbox Studios in Culver City, CA.

EGPAF is seeking an agency that can provide media relations services, working with the organization’s external affairs team to secure event media coverage, establish new media contacts and position EGPAF as a global leader in the effort to end AIDS in children.

The agency chosen would work with EGPAF to develop a media outreach strategy and identify appropriate media outlets for pre-event, event and post-event coverage goals.

Proposals will be graded on a criterion of past media relations and event coverage work, the agency’s proposed process, approach and timeframe, budget price and qualifications.

Total available budget is $15,000.
