Elizabeth City State University, a public college in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, is seeking an agency specializing in branding and repositioning services as part of an effort to develop a marketing plan for the university and its various departments and programs.

ECSU, which was founded 1891, enrolls nearly 2,500 students. It offers the only four-year collegiate aviation education program in the state of North Carolina.

Scope of the work includes establishing a comprehensive marketing and communications plan to increase awareness of ECSU’s aviation program through the use of a microsite, print collateral, logo and tagline, video, media placement, content development, social media campaigns and aircraft signage designs; creating marketing materials and/or other promotional items that align with the ECSU brand for recruitment and enrollment purposes; planning marketing initiatives to promote new academic programs; and developing content and coordinating media buys in various targeted regions across the state as well as border states.

The contract carries an initial of one-year term, with an option to renew for up to two additional one-year terms, at the university’s discretion. Budget for the work was not listed.
