Human Impacts Institute, a Brooklyn-based nonprofit that uses art and culture to spark environmental action for social good, has issued an RFP for a PR firm to bolster its profile before NYC residents, media and potential corporate and funding partners.
Founded in 2010, HII provides a platform for its community to share experiences and inspire others via programs such as Human Impact Stories and Creative Climate Awards.
The organization operates the Human Impact Hub, co-creation/working space located at the Brooklyn Public Library in Williamsburg. Free and low-cost space is available there for offices, galleries, rehearsals, studios, public workships and events.
HII seeks a firm to engage in strategic PR planning, handle media relations, create press releases/fact sheets/messaging and assist in social media activities.
The envisioned agency will be appointed for a year beginning in April. The overall budget will be discussed with the consideration that HII is a nonprofit organization, according to the RFP.
Questions about the RFP go to HII board member Lauren Beebe at [email protected].
