The Missouri Division of Tourism, the state agency charged with promoting travel and tourism within the Show-Me State, is accepting proposals as it searches for a new marketing agency of record.

The DOT is looking for a full-service agency that can develop and provide an integrated marketing program that promotes Missouri’s positive attributes while showcasing the state as a travel destination.

Scope of the work includes paid media (including creation, preparation and placement of advertising in various domestic paid media and markets, and possible support for international marketing efforts); earned media; shared media; owned media (including website development and management and email marketing); cooperative marketing; partnerships; and promotions.

Contract is slated to run for one year, from July 1 through June 30, 2020, with three additional one-year renewals within the Division of Purchasing’s discretion.

The state agency cites a total budget available of approximately $10 million.

All bidding agencies must operate an office within the state of Missouri, have operated as a full-service marketing agency for a minimum of five years, and must have had at least one consumer-targeted account with annual media billings of approximately $4 million using broadcast, digital and print media. 

Deadline for responses is 2 p.m. (CT) on Apr 24.
