Tavares, Florida is accepting statements of qualification from agencies that can develop and implement a marketing and promotions strategy and campaign to increase awareness of the central Sunshine State city.

The Lake County seat, which sits about 30 miles northwest of Orlando, is known as “America’s Seaplane City,” due to being home of the Tavares Seaplane Base.

Tavares is looking to build upon its unique brand and identity with “an impactful and effective multimedia marketing and promotions campaign to reach a broad and diverse audience.”

Scope of the work includes creating a distinct marketing and promotions plan for the city along with a strategy for implementation, as well as creation of online and print marketing materials.

Qualifying firms must demonstrate competence and experience in brand/identity awareness, message development and delivery, event communication, design, placement and prioritizing multiphase campaigns, including social media content development and placement.

Deadline for quotations is 2:00 p.m. (EST) on August 22.
