Humboldt County, California, is seeking proposals from agencies that can provide branding, promoting and marketing strategy services for the county’s booming cannabis industry.

The North Coast California county, whose population is nearly 140,000, is known for its redwood forests, as well as its cultivation of cannabis, which has become a significant economic driver in recent years.

Humboldt County is looking for a full-service marketing agency or consultant that can develop and implement a distinct national and industry brand for Humboldt County-grown cannabis and cannabis-related products and services, in an effort to allow the county to maintain its competitive advantage in the cannabis industry as well as preserve and grow its current market share.

Terms of the contract run for three years.
