The Greater Augusta Regional Tourism Board, the regional tourism authority serving Virginia’s Augusta County as well as the Shenandoah Valley cities of Staunton and Waynesboro, is seeking proposals from agencies that can provide digital marketing and social media services.

GART wants an agency to develop a digital marketing program for the Shenandoah Beerwerks Trail, an initiative which promotes more than a dozen breweries in the region, in an effort to drive overnight stays and visitor spending, promote partner destinations and raise awareness of the Shenandoah Valley as a visitor destination among potential visitors from a series of target markets.

Scope of the work includes developing and executing creative concepts (devising strategies and promotions as well as digital marketing advice, counsel and assistance); conducting social media ad campaigns (for Facebook and Instagram); conducting video campaigns and creating social ads to promote existing video content; creating ads for retargeting; creating, running and optimizing Google AdWords content; social media maintenance; designing and developing campaign landing pages on the existing beerwerkstrail.com website; analytics and campaign optimization; and media buying.

Terms of the contract run for a year (beginning July 1), with an option to renew for up to two additional one-year renewals.
