Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy

The Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy in Boston is looking for PR/marketing pitches to help promote the 2020 season and the role the nonprofit plays in the management/funding of the public park.

In 2018, The Greenway negotiated a Business Improvement District to support the Conservancy’s care of the park. Massachusetts, Boston and the BID provide 33 percent of the park’s operating budget with private sources kicking in the balance.

Though millions of people visit the Greenway each year, few understand the role of the Conservancy’s role in its management and funding, according to its RFP.

The group’s five-year strategic business plan found that once visitors learned that the park is funded by a non-profit, they are more likely to donate to support its upkeep.

The RFP calls for a firm with a track record with non-profits, experience in use of multi-channel/platform campaigns and influencer engagement, and understanding of the Conservancy’s brand standards.

The project’s budget is $25K.
