The City Colleges of Chicago organization seeks a firm to handle the rebranding of its seven community colleges and five satellite facilities.
According to CCC's RFP, the current brand, which underwent an overhaul a decade ago, "lacks clear focus and organization."
That rebranding effort united the colleges into one visual system, but is now "outdated and is in need of a refocusing and strategizing for our current market and social reality."
CCC wants a partner with strong branding and strategic capabilities to provide an "outside perspective" to its marketing programming.
The firm will work with CCC's marketing and communications department through a process that will include research, strategy, creative development and market testing.
CCC plans to award a two-year contract. There is an option for two additional one-year extensions.
