New Jersey’s Neptune Township has issued a Request for Qualifications for agencies that can provide public relations consulting services.

The Monmouth County township, whose population is about 30,000, is looking for a firm with experience representing public entities in the Garden State that can act as a PR consultant and develop and drive press coverage that raises awareness of the Township among residents, tourists and potential business owners as well as state/county officials.

Scope of the work includes conducting media relations work and developing press releases and pitches highlighting the Township; communicating and meeting with city officials and providing guidance on matters related to marketing, media releases and PR; and acting as a consultant for special events.

The contract calls for a one-year commitment. The proposed budget for the work shouldn’t exceed $42,000.
