Trinity Metro

The Fort Worth Transportation Authority, operating as Trinity Metro, wants to hire a PR firm to provide community relations services on an as-needed basis.

Trinity Metro operates fixed bus routes, commuter rail and a paratransit service.

The RFP’s scope of work includes communicating issues to external audiences pertaining to construction projects, such as future TexRail expansion efforts and the Bus Rapid Transit line development plan, as well as on-going outreach for all established and potential ZipZone service areas.

The desired firm will conduct outreach to businesses impacted by construction and bridge the gap where Trinity Metro does not have connections or where existing relationships and connections can be strengthened.

As an extension of Trinity Metro’s marketing and communications team, the firm will “seek opportunities to impart messaging about the benefits of public transit and provide outreach to the public and drive increased ridership by working with businesses and community groups.”

Trinity Metro plans to issue a three-year contract.

Proposals are due Dec. 15. Trinity Metro prefers getting electronic responses at its portal.
