MD Anderson Cancer Center

The MD Anderson Cancer Center, one of the world’s premier cancer care and research facilities, is looking for one or more firms to build upon its existing marketing strategies.

US News & World Report ranked MD Anderson the No. 1 care hospital in its 2020-21 survey.  The magazine has named Anderson either No. 1 or No. 2 since it began its rankings in 1990.

MD Anderson, which is affiliated with the University of Texas, has issued an RFP with four components. Interested firms may bid on individual programs, a combination of projects or the entire package.

Categories are:

 1) Brand Management & Strategy: The global brand management consultant will support institutional priorities, strategic business growth, lead generation and awareness building at the local, regional, national and international levels;

2) Advertising: Programs include brand and thought leadership, patient acquisition, service line (product) growth, cause-related/“friend-raising ads and specific demographic targeted/event advertising.

3) Search Engine Optimization: The firm will implement a new and innovative search engine program for the University and augment existing strategic communications efforts.

4) Marketing Analytics & Attribution. The partner will provide measurement services needed to track marketing effectiveness and determine return on investment. Respondents must provide marketing analytics thought leadership and have effective analytics strategy, implementation and management, advanced analytics and attribution, ongoing analysis and reporting, testing best practices, strategy and optimizations capabilities.
