UCF

The University of Central Florida wants to hire a firm to provide PR and communications services for its research center for people suffering from post-traumatic stress disorders.

UCF Restores, which is in Orlando, offers a three-week outpatient program for first responders; front-line medical personnel; military veterans; and survivors of sexual assault, mass violence and natural disasters.

It has treated more than 1,000 veterans/active-duty personnel, as well as survivors of the Pulse nightclub, Las Vegas and Parkland mass shootings.

The selected firm will promote UCF Restores as a highly respected research center offering cutting-edge treatments and a trusted source of science information to the media and public.

The PR partner will drive traffic to UCF Restore’s website/social media sites and “inspire well-qualified potential donors (individuals, foundations and corporations) to consider providing financial support,” according to the RFP.

Responses to the RFP are due on March 25.
