Connecticut Green Bank, the nation’s first “green bank,” is seeking proposals from agencies that can provide public relations and media relations services.

The Rocky Hill, CT-based financial services company, which was founded in 2011, develops and administers financing and investment programs for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects for residential, commercial, industrial and institutional customers in the Constitution State.

CGB is looking for an agency that can provide a full array of PR and media relations services to communicate its brand and mission. Scope of the work includes identifying and developing relationships with key reporters and media outlets; preparing and distributing press releases and media advisories and conducting research for news stories; developing strategies to communicate CGB’s brand and mission; developing written content, photos, case studies and other content that can be used on CGB’s digital properties; conducting general promotion as well as PR support for specific campaigns and promotional efforts; identifying speaking opportunities as well as opportunities to leverage new communications channels; assisting with the promotion of CGB events; and media monitoring.
