The University of Maryland’s Eastern Shore campus is soliciting proposals from agencies that can provide brand identity and marketing strategy services.

The land-grant research institution, located in the town of Princess Anne on the east side of the Chesapeake Bay, is looking to undergo an extensive branding and marketing initiative.

UMES is looking for an agency that can help develop a brand platform, strategy and key messaging for the University, and articulate and deliver an accompanying brand story that showcases UMES’ identity and strengths.

Scope of the work includes crafting a core elements of a brand identity and platform for the university; creation of graphic elements based on that visual identity; and providing recommendations for the creation of both external and internal marketing plans.

Proposals are due by 2:00 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, April 22 and should be sent to:

Technical and financial proposals should be submitted simultaneously but in separately-sealed packages. All submissions should include one original and four copies of both the technical and financial proposals. One electronic version of both the technical and financial proposal should also be submitted. Packages must be labeled with the RFP number (ES 2021 - 002), due date and offeror’s name.
