Louisiana is seeking a communications partner to highlight products grown, manufactured, or produced in the Pelican State that are aimed at enhancing and promoting its agricultural sector.

The goal of the PR, advertising and promotional effort is to increase awareness of Louisiana’s certified program and encourage consumers to buy, eat and drink products from the state.

The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry has registered trademarked logos for “Certified Louisiana,” “Certified Cajun,” “Certified Creole,” “Certified Craft Beverage” and “Certified Farm to Table.” 

The state has budgeted $1,365,000 for the three-year effort, not to exceed $455,000 per year. There will be an option to renew for an additional two-year period at the same rate.

Work will begin on or about August 15.
